Description
This Outdoor Edge SwingBabe rotating double blade hunting knife is designed for outdoor and field dressing applications, featuring a unique pivoting design that allows the user to switch between a drop-point skinning blade and a specialized gutting blade. The skinning blade measures approximately 3.6 inches in length and is constructed from AUS-8 stainless steel with a satin finish and jimping along the spine for enhanced control. The handle is composed of textured pink polymer, ergonomically contoured with finger grooves and fitted with a push-button release mechanism to unlock and rotate the blades. Key markings include the model designation SwingBabe with a trademark symbol on the left side of the skinning blade. The reverse ricasso is stamped AUS-8 STAINLESS, patent pending, and china. A circular gold-tone and black OUTDOOR EDGE logo medallion is inlaid into the handle scale. This knife is accompanied by a black woven nylon belt sheath featuring a hard plastic liner and green and yellow embroidered branding, as well as its original factory cardboard box.
Condition report:
The knife is in excellent, near-new condition, showing virtually no signs of use or wear. The satin finish on both the skinning and gutting blades remains bright and clean with sharp, factory-original edges. The rotating pivot mechanism functions smoothly and locks securely into place. The pink polymer handle scales are clean and free of scuffs, and the logo medallion is intact. The nylon sheath is clean with intact stitching and a functioning snap fastener. The original box shows light storage wear and minor hand-written markings on the lid but remains structurally sound.
