Description
This lot consists of 250 rounds of mixed .45 Auto (.45 ACP) handgun ammunition, stored loose in a bulk configuration. The collection includes a variety of manufacturers with clearly legible headstamps including W-W for Winchester-Western, PMC, G.F.L. for Giulio Fiocchi, Lecco, SPEER, FEDERAL, R-P for Remington-Peters, and WINCHESTER. The cartridges feature both brass and nickel-plated casings and are predominantly loaded with round-nose full metal jacket projectiles, though at least one jacketed hollow point round and variations in jacket color are visible. Technical markings transcribed verbatim from the case heads designate the caliber as 45 AUTO or 45 ACP. The lot provides a diverse assortment of commercial handgun ammunition suitable for handguns chambered in .45 ACP.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in overall good condition, ranging from bright and clean to moderately tarnished with minor surface oxidation on some brass casings consistent with bulk storage. The nickel-plated cases retain a high degree of their original luster. Projectiles appear correctly seated with no signs of significant mechanical damage or heavy corrosion. All rounds appear to be live with intact, unspent primers.
