Description
This lot consists of a collection of five vintage fixed-magnification rifle scopes, all featuring gloss black finishes and 4x magnification. The first scope is marked MARBLES 4X on the tube near the eyepiece. The second scope is a Weaver model K4 series 60-C marked WEAVER K4 60-C, USA. PAT. NO. 2949816, and EL PASO TEX. USA. The third scope is a slim-tube Japanese-made optic marked MADE IN JAPAN, WATERPROOF, 4x20mm, and U4220. The fourth scope is a Bushnell ScopeChief 4X marked BUSHNELL TRIPLE TESTED SCOPECHIEF 4X and numbered 97714. The fifth and final scope features a gold Bushnell B CERTIFIED QUALITY medallion on the turret housing and is marked on the objective bell Skyline 4 X 31 COATED No.23201 with a DBK OSK logo. No mounting hardware or rings are included with this lot.
Condition report:
The scopes show varying degrees of age and use, including surface scratches, finish wear, light handling marks, and dust. The Bushnell ScopeChief exhibits significant scuffing and finish wear on its objective bell, while the small 4x20mm Japanese scope shows several white paint marks on its main tube. The blued and gloss finishes show typical wear consistent with field use. The optics have not been tested for tracking, reticle alignment, or internal fogging, and they are sold as-is.
